What do you say to distance learning/online degree haters?

    Exactly. I was about to put "shelf life" and then I realized that wouldn't be accurate, for the reasons you list.

    Anyway, I suppose there are worse things for an academic than to have a continuous line on useful research to do. :smile:

    I earned all of my diplomas from long distance courses. I also got my high school diploma from a long distance course as well. In 2011 I completed a course from Ashworth College. I graduated with a GPA 3.00 with Honors. I'm also a member of Delta Epsilon Tau Honor Society. If this answers this question then I have done so. Never under estimate a long distance education. It's difficult, but if you're determined to work hard you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
