    They are dogs used in illegal dog fighting rings like the one Michael Vick was involved in. They are fed the minimum amount to survive, and the dogs that don't kill are used as "bait" so a gang of dogs will attack, and learn the taste of blood and the "kill". They suffer countless attacks, and the wounds are left untreated. The non killers are chocked, drowned, electrocuted, or have their heads bashed in. Man's leaning toward evil never surprises me.
