Volcano "expert" with credentials from LaSalle (Chicago) and Dallas State

I notice his publications list still states that his dissertation is at the University of Dallas.

I agree with Ian Anderson -- I have no doubt that Mr. Trombley is an enthusiastic [and knowledgeable] amateur volcanologist.

I suspect he adds value to public with his knowledge of volcanoes.... but I think his ego has gotten the better of him. It’s a common disease!
