Note: This is one of five courses needed to complete the program, so it is probably $115 for 3 credit hours.

Interesting. Seems like there's more of a commitment than just the class - they're intending you to go overseas and plant churches. I don't know anything about this organization. Can people take just the one course or even the 5 course program with no intention of the other half of the commitment (converting the "un-reached")? It's not something that interests me, but for others who are I'm curious.

Not bad.. but is this university accredited?

They are accredited by an organization called the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. I might have to do a little bit of research, but that organization seems on the level.

Yes, WASC is one of the 6 regional accreditors. So Vanguard U has RA. Mission One Eleven delivers the programming and Vanguard will accept that 15 "units" of transferrable credit, which it sounds like is 3 credits per course, of which each costs $115 (unless I've misread the Event Brite) -

For someone interested in this sort of thing getting 15 credits is pretty neat, but I strongly question if they'd be accepted anywhere else so you might need to earn a whole degree through Vanguard, who charge $35,850 per academic year. (
