10 Cheap Online Graduate Education Programs for Out-of-State Students

The good news for cost-conscious consumers is that plenty of schools -- 31 , to be exact -- charged less than $350 per credit for out-of-state students. And at the 10 schools with the lowest per-credit fees for out-of-state students, costs were $263 per credit or less.

One caution about this article. It includes the (2014 I think) US News ranking of the schools but be aware that the schools may be in different US News categories , so the ranks may not apply relative to each other. For example, Texas Tech has a 107 score while Kansas Fort Hays has a 28. This is because Texas Tech is being ranked among "National Universities" while Fort Hays is in a much less competitive category, "Midwest Regional Universities"
