What's wrong with their texts? I've never seen them, so I'm curious to know more.

Essentially whatever free PDF ebooks they can find.

In fairness they also use programming assignments lifted from MIT courses, and one science class used Carnegie-Mellon's web page. I understand the constraints on what they are trying to do must be pretty intense. Anyway, I do not want to be overly negative of them. I do appreciate the chance to learn there. I hope anyone who does continue to attend enjoys the experience.

I had a similar experience at Patten. A number of my modules were actually Khan Academy videos. On the one hand, hey, go Khan Academy, why reinvent the wheel? On the other hand, I can't understand paying $359/month to watch Khan Academy videos and prepare (generally) one written project and a final exam. It just seems to me that if you're into that then Edinburgh Business School is likely a better option for you.
