University of the Cumberlands: New Program Coming

    It is too bad they do not call it a PhD in Education or Educational Leadership. I'd probably apply if they did.

    I realize that I am digging up a slightly older thread but I have a comment/question. If the PhD is in Leadership but the curriculum is the exact same as the
    EdD does it really matter that it is a PHD in Leadership? As long as you have the educational and educational leadership courses on your transcripts that would still allow you to apply to any positions that require a degree in education or educational leadership would it not? BTW, this is a serious question so if it sounds unusually ignorant, I do apologize!

    I expect so, although it's important to note that this isn't the sort of educational leadership program that's designed for principals or other K-12 administrators.
