I think you're rubbing off on me :D

False would be true, haha. However, if the T/F statement said "some North Americans," then true would be the right choice.[/QUOTE]

I would hope so ;) That's the objective!

    Chris:

You seem like a reasonable guy. In my more-than-20 years posting on this board, there have been the occasional posters who seem to want to pick a fight with me. Sometimes--just sometimes--you come across like that. I don't know why; I can't possibly say or do anything that could be of any importance to you.

For example, the recent kerfuffle with "DrSchmoe." That guy, with no basis at all, called me out as a racist. I just blew him off because I knew he was being a lunatic not worth engaging. He got called on his posts--some of which you "liked," by the way--got mad, and disappeared. I was pretty confident that would happen once he no longer had someone to fly up against. That's how these people operate.

Then, there are posters like you, who have a wealth of things to offer, but who decide, for whatever reason, to seek conflict where none exists. (Not generally, though. I must rub you the wrong way.) The little distinctions around "North America" is a classic example, where the distinctions in no way make any difference to the question at hand. Why do that?

And then back to the question, which the school did not answer: I wonder if US students (hope that designation works) can take the Sunderland doctorate--and/or other programs--when there are mixed signals all over the website?

    Thanks,

    Rich

(Oh, and to spare others this little ordeal, I'm happy to take it to IM--or whatever they call private messages here. I don't want to drag anyone down with an off-topic disagreement. Or, if we're done with that, that's cool, too.)
