University of Southern California - New Tuition Plan

    It will be interesting to see how this is carried out, and if it will extend to distance education programs. Hopefully other schools with large endowments, begin considering this option as well. On a related note, I had no idea that USC was a private school, always presumed it was one of the flagship institutions of the University of California system.

    Harvard has been doing this for years. There are others

    If I remember correctly UT-Austin is doing this as well. There seem to be a lot of top universities taking this approach.
