In our program (the CLMS at the U. of Leicester), students can pay their tuition over their time in the program. For master's students, this works out to about $650 per month for the two year program. (Payments are actually made three times per year, but that's their monthly average.) For doctoral students, it works out to about $590 per month over 48 months. (Again, paid every 4 months.)

In either case, a part-time job can help cover the costs. (Or a full-time job with a tuition reimbursement benefit.)

Good luck with your search! (Hopefully, you've considered the much-less-expensive South African options.)

Leister has a similar payment option for the program I'm looking at. They will let students make three payments per year for two years. it works out to about $575 per month for the MA in Communications, Media and Public Relations.

I have looked at UNISA, but they don't have a similar graduate program, and their graduate programs require an undergrad degree. I do plan to get my BA, but still...UNISA doesn't have the program I want. I looked at some other African schools, but did not find program offerings similar to University of Leicester's...unless I missed somthing.
