University Ditches Textbooks

    This is occurring more and more now. We're now seeing the first generation of college freshman, from a number of school districts, who have gone through primary and secondary school without ever having used a textbook.

    My Master’s was done online via DL (graduated in Dec,) and the “digital textbook” was very much a part of what was offered - I personally can’t stand them for the most part. Yes, I’ll be 50 in a few months, so I’m “old skool” I guess, but I can’t really get on with a completely digital environment. I still paid for a few actual books because I needed them...:-(
