UNISA Degrees: USA Utility?

UNISA is pretty well regarded. Mostly because people respect the discipline needed to do everything on your own. The UNISA courses are well known to be a lot of work with little support.

 

Also, I should have added that there are even a few private 'colleges' in SA that offer UNISA degrees and make money by providing lecturers and basically turning the DL degree into a B&M one.

 

Amen to that. You are on YOUR own. The defense of the dissertation is like going through a slow meat grinder ( this was told to me by a former doctoral student in the American History section of UNISA. It is slow but worth it. )
