My 12th grade son is graduating high school in 2 weeks (yeah!) and has accumulated a nice collection of 100/200 level credit from dual enrollment and ACE sources (Sophia and Straighterline). His distribution of credit is pretty good, he's around 70 credits. It's time to pull the trigger for a bachelor's degree. He's eager to take online classes, not test out- so what I'm looking for is low tuition with good credit acceptance of ACE credit. When I start doing real comparisons using real degree plans online, costs for CLASSES at the big 3 are off the table- obviously too expensive. Less expensive by a tiny amount is Liberty or Upper Iowa. APUS isn't transfer friendly anymore- not sure what happened there, but they are capping ACE credit at 30 now. So, while they are less per credit, he's looking at taking 90 with them instead of only 60. Throw me some names- I want USA RA, but he's completely fine with whatever I find for him. I would only add that Precal isn't happening- so that's an issue at a few others I've ruled out. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
