    Hi Johann,

I hope you don't mind me chiming in. I have not found any RA or ATS accredited M.Div program that did not require Biblical Languages. I attend LBTS and they require three semesters of Greek and three of Hebrew. Frankly, I would steer clear of any M.Div. program that didn't offer it, especially if you hope to teach at some point in the future or enter a D.Min. program. Just my thoughts!

Of course I don't mind, Lance! It's your forum, too, after all! I know really very little about religious programs, but I do realize the indispensable nature of Biblical languages, if one is going to undertake that study with any seriousness. I'm not religious at all myself - but I am (after 40 years as one) now an ex-atheist and have learned a little Koiné (Bible Greek) on my own. I know no Hebrew except the alef-bet, which I learned almost accidentally at 12, some 58 years ago. I did, however, download a free book on Biblical Hebrew the other day and - hopefully - I'll get around to it very soon.
