I've been at NCU for awhile now and I know for a fact that this is not the case. For all courses, you have at least a week to review the material before the class actually starts. If you don't like the course, you switch to something else - just like anyplace else. There is an add/drop fee but that is standard at any institution.

Additionally, if your background indicates any type of experience with graduate-level research, you do not have to take LS610. I know, because I did have experience in research from a prior master's program and I didn't have to take the course.

I agree, we should think like consumers. That entails READING THE CONTRACT AND UNDERSTANDING THE CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING THE CONTRACT. It also entails researching the school BEFORE SIGNING THE CONTRACT.

If one is seeking to become educated, he/she must learn to think for one's self.
