Looking for input on this school. Cant do a search right now it other than posts from 5+ years ago. I am looking at the MSAF (Accounting and Finance) - it gets you 18 cr hrs in each subject. You can dual with a MSM too. A little expensive, I know, but there are not alot of programs that will get you 18 cr hrs in two subjects for that price. Thoughts?
Sure it's a little expensive, but being qualified to teach both Accounting and Finance, and qualified for doctoral programs in either, is a real coup. And UMUC may not be as prestigious as the flagship University of Maryland at College Park, but it's still a state school, which is probably a plus if you're not going somewhere ranked. -=Steve=-

Thats what I was thinking. Add a CPA license (studying now) and I think it may be just the ticket. As a bonus you can add a Masters in Managment with 18 hours of managment prefix courses. Then you have 3 subjects
Thanks Ted. Unfortunately there are only a couple posts out of those 3 threads. Hopefully we can get that Search function working properly soon.
I wouldn't be surprised if they planned it that way. When I was at Southeastern I developed a number of Graduate Certificate programs that were nothing more that 18 credits in a particular subject, and a Master's in Higher Education Instruction that was little more than two of those certificates put together with a mentored teaching experience as a capstone. (I have no idea whether they'll implement them, but they were well received at the time.) -=Steve=-
