UK Distance Ed Railroad Hist Grad Certificate

I found this while searching around the internet. It's probably not a program that many people on this forum would pursue but I thought I'd pass it along since I had never heard about it before.

Certificate in Railway Studies by Distance Learning offered by the University of York and the National Railway Museum.

It's a graduate level certificate that takes 2 years to complete. The cost per year is 1100 pounds for UK/EU residents and 3170 pounds for all other students. (Roughly $4400 as of today.)

They also offer a Certificate in Transport History.

I love stuff like this! It's interesting to see these niche degrees/certs.

 

The National Railroad Museum in York, UK, is a great place to visit - I've been there several times.

Kansas City has a fantastically restored train depot. I attended EDI (Economic Development Inst.) and it was one of the highlights of the trip.
