People that only watch Fox News and/or use social media for news and/or follow Trump's twitter account exist within what I call Trump's lie bubble or fog of lies. Trump creates his fog of lies or his lie bubble primarily to protect himself. Some Republicans seem to sometimes argue that Trump lies in order to to enrage the left. This is just another example of the right trying to paint the left as weak minded. In reality, Trump created his fog of lies or his lie bubble to detach his followers from political reality as best he can.

Here's one good example of someone existing in Trump's fog of lies.

    "quote following
The success of this Republican campaign, reflected in conservative media coverage, to protect Trump was best captured by Amash’s own constituent Cathy Garnaat, a Republican, who NBC reported was “surprised to hear there was anything negative in the Mueller report at all about President Trump.”

“I hadn’t heard that before,” she told NBC after the Tuesday town hall. “I’ve mainly listened to conservative news and I hadn’t heard anything negative about that report and President Trump has been exonerated.”
    end of quote"

To me it all seems rather up in the air as to whether anything will really come of it until he is out of office. The Republicans are clearly determined to continue the charade and so it's likely that the next election will be the controlling factor.
