Trinity trademark lawsuit is settled (requires free login)
So what's the new name? The TC&U URL www.trinity-college.edu now redirects to www.biu-edu.org where we find... "Bronte International University." The page informs visitors that BIU is "FORMERLY TRINITY COLLEGE & UNIVERSITY."

Another degree mill use of the edu suffix is gone. (I'm hoping that http://kw.edu/ is the next to bite the dust.)

I hoped that by dropping "Trinity" they would become simply "College and University."

I presume that the name "Bronte" was selected because there were three Bronte sisters.

What is TC&U's most illustrious alumnus, Neil Hayes, going to say about this?

If you buy a degree from a degree mill, and the degree mill changes names, should you indicate the name change on your vitae?

Isn't there also a Trinity (Seminary?) in Indiana that is trying for RA?

<Trinity here, Trinity there, Trinity everywhere, I'm so confused...>

Trinity Bible College (Ellendale, ND)- www.trinitybiblecollege.edu

Not a mill, but one terrible football team. Last year they lost to Rockford College 105-0!

That address seems to be currently unavailable.

It also risked being confused with www.trinitycollege.co.uk, the URL for the external examining wing of the totally legitimate Trinity College, London, a well established music school and now part of the University of Greenwich, London (again legitimate and not to be confused with the "other" Greenwich).

So if you are enough of a lizard to buy a degree from this outfit, are you a Brontesaurus?

He was extremely knowledgable regarding his alma mater Trinity's history and the many competing entities. I really enjoyed the haute disdain he seemed to show when someone would get some irrelevant detail about TC&U's history wrong.
