Interesting Thread from the past below. It is from 2005. Since it was 15 years ago, I wonder if anyone would venture interesting threads from 2019-2020? https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?threads/top-ten-most-interesting-threads-of-2005.22013/ In deference to Rich, I'll throw one out from earlier this year on DEAC doctorates (Below). Any others in, say, the last 18 months? https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?threads/getting-a-deac-accredited-doctorate.57135/
No, I'm afraid that there are none. The quality of threads has almost universally gone down the tubes (much like higher education itself), and have become overly repetitious and generally irrelevant. The last truly interesting (and funny) thread is from 2016: https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?threads/sarah-palin-black-lives-matter-is-a-farce.48525/page-4 (yes, starting with page 4). Spoiler alert: It's the thread which resulted in Rich being banned from DI, which, in turn, resulted in a debate about whether he should have been banned. Coming next week: An announcement about the first regionally accredited "Micro Ph.D. Certificate" Yes, kids, that's a joke. Or is it?
Micro PhD Certificate? Seems I have a nice business idea now. We have micro-masters and micro-bachelors already But actually the micro-PhD is already existed. It is called professional doctoral or beyond master but not a PhD yet.
