    If you google "LSAT" you very quickly realize that there is a huge industry dedicated to the preparation for the exam. Clearly it's easier for them if the actual test doesn't change too much. We've had some recent conversation about whether law school does a good job of preparing you to practice law and now I suppose we can discuss whether the LSAT predicts in any significant way, the students success in law school. I don't know if it has any more predictive power than any of the other popular academic exams like the SAT/ACT, the GRE or MAT. I'm not sure anyone would really mind taking a test that actually does what it is supposed to do. As it is, it may have very little utility (other than supporting those in the test-prep business).
