    Hi Dr. Hayes PhD,

I believe that you've been caught spreading falsehoods. Your silly accusations about shilling or working for unaccredited institutions is false. Your statement about there being no support for unaccredited institutions is also false. You just seem to like the diploma mill variety.

I never claimed to be an expert at anything besides software engineering and chess. I'm rated a chess expert but haven't played in years so would not play at expert strength without a fair amount of practice.

So how long did it take you to get your KU PhD? 6 months or less?

It took 30+ years, three books, seven published papers, and over 350,000 words to achieve a KU PhD.
There are certainly no untruths about my shilling comments.

What was your rationale for getting a Knightsbridge PhD?

You are saying that you received your KU PhD for previously published work? Do you mind saying how much this assessment cost? Do you still claim your TC&U PhD?

Dr. Hayes PhD, I believe that you're getting tangled in your stories. First you tell the falsehood that certain people have never said anything good about any unaccredited school and then you apprently accuse these same people of shilling for unaccredited schools. Perhaps you should try harder to appear consistent?

I don't believe that it's a valid degree for use in business or academia. Or for any professional purpose. But if it gives some measure of personal satisfaction and "self validation" then I'm happy about it.

OK. So from that perspective, why does it matter if he paid anything for the degree?

I do not doubt the quality of your work. I have no doubt that you have set the upper limits for accomplishments of a Knightsbridge graduate.

I just wonder what the average level of achievement is to attain a doctorate at Knightsbridge. And, more importantly, what is the minimum? (Even the minimum qualifications for a degree are not available on their website. I think that, most people understand how many words/digits are included in the minimum qualifications.)

I've done a lot of searches on the web, and I have never found one single dissertation/thesis/paper by a Knightsbridge graduate.

Is there some grand conspiracy going on to deny the profound quality and impact of the works produced by this University?

Has any other Knightsbridge GRADUATE (not "faculty") ever published ANYTHING?

I don't know how many legitimate doctorates are granted worldwide every year (10's of thousands, I would guess.) But if just one of these legitimate doctoral recipients decided to go around buying additional Ph.D.'s from every degree mill in existence, would it make those degree mills any more legitimate?

    Dr. Hayes,

I notice that you no longer claim your Trinity degree in your Ph.D. In fact, you specifically specify that your Ph.D. is from Knightsbridge.

Do you now reject your Trinity Ph.D.? I think I read that you admitted that you had been conned by Trinity (perhaps I was misled), but are you now going beyond admitting that you were conned and rejecting this degree?

    If so, I applaud you.

In a recent conversation with one of their representatives regarding my dissertation, UMI said they publish about 55,000 dissertations and theses annually. That's in the U.S.

I just did a search at Collegehints for "Knightsbridge," and of the first four threads listed, three of them contained the word "mill:"

Which degree mill discussion should I check out in order to find out more information about this fine University?

There are two Knightsbridge threads running at the moment - under the General Education Discussion forum. One is attempting to determine why Rich thinks Knightsbridge is a 'degree-mill' and the other involves my Knightsbridge PhD.

Hmmmm. A "school" that grants doctorates based on prior knowledge with no published requirements or evidence of the quality of work of its students that has no accepted accreditation. I think most would define that as a degree mill. Throw in the facts that Henrik started awarding degrees when he was 21 years old and that Knightsbridges is not recognized in its home country in any way may even increase those numbers.

An institution that is not part of the greater academic community cannot grant legitimate doctorates. KU does not appear to be part of the greater academic community. Dr. Hayes PhD, there's a significant difference between doctorates and lower degrees. If you were a real doctor, you would realize this.
