Well, it's been awhile. The Texas GOP's Creep in Chief hasn't mentioned secession since 2021. But speaking as a citizen of New Mexico it seems to me that it is an idea worth reconsidering, especially after the Senator's behavior during the events of January 6.
One thing that would be fun to see is if folks like Majorie Taylor Greene that give comfort to J6 inmates would be barred from holding office due to section 3 of the 14th amendment.
We did something like that. New Mexico barred Couy Griffin, an Otero County Commissioner and founder of Cowboys for Trump, a sort of church I gather, from ever holding political office again due to his participation in the insurrection.
