Tomorrow we face the longest day of the year and triple digit temperatures in Southern New Mexico. But here and in the Desert Southwest in general a huge snowpack has improved our water storage situation and greatly reduced the drought. Our reservoirs aren't full like California's but we are averaging around 25-30% instead of last year's 5-10% and there's still a lot of snowpack to melt. Add to this two or three years of El Niño in the offing and things are looking good!
