"The Pub" depresses her. Why? Because the issues surrounding K-WU were discussed? How fragile a decision is it to enroll there?

While I was there, the a.e.d. spammer put down my National U. MBA. Funny, because I've always made light of the fact that it is a run-of-the-mill degree. Still, if an MBA from a regionally accredited school isn't good, what does that make one from K-WU? (I posted that query but got no response.)

Yes it is funny, this fellow spews his nonsense and libel with the deluded belief that his anonimity ensures his safety. What he doesn't realize is that his caustic posts have to be doing damage to his own personality and outlook on life. Now that would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

Agreed; I'm not sure how much he has to lose, but this is obviously not a case of "flat" vitriol. He's feeding a very real psychological need for sadism and cruelty, and if that need hasn't already become an addiction, it will. This addiction can be fed as long as one has an outlet for it (which is why hate groups do manage to keep a fair proportion of long-term members, despite the fact that ranting about a minority group has limited novelty value)--but if one doesn't have that outlet (and how long can he dedicate his life to railing against education writers?), it has a nasty habit of decomposing into a particularly nasty and persistent sort of generalized cynicism, one that doesn't go away overnight. Billy Joel nailed it in "Angry Young Man"; it sounds like wishful thinking, but vocalized hate really does come with its own drawbacks.

    Peace,

Billy Joel nailed something besides Christie Brinkley? Excellent.

(I've got every Billy Joel album from Cold Spring Harbor to River of Dreams.)

One last thing. I note that the a.e.d. spammer, using "Tim" as an alias on About.com, is still allowed to post as "Piere" (sic), repeating himself on The Pub. So, K-WU boots me, but allows the spammer to post under several aliases. (He used "Piere" several days ago, but they let him keep it. Inside guy?)

The post on The Pub quoting himself appeared right after his post on About.com. That K-WU allows this--and boots whomever it doesn't like--just shows how reprehensible this organization is.

Jousting with RJT might be interesting, but this is unadulterated garbage. Dirtbags.

Rich, any idea why this fellow finds you so attractive? I'm rather curious. If you would rather we can take this to email?

Dirtbags, ha, this is much better. 12 frik'in thirty and I'm still up refurbishing my feeble, but thus far adequate grasp of calculus. I should have stayed with Kay-Dubya. Curious that a bastion of such academic prominence would exclude calculus from a BS/CIS program? Hmmm…

I’m now set for two challenges ladies and gents. Six real live credits should I succeed. Hope to CLEP some of the more “fluffy” stuff soon. I might even be able to scam a few CRs via portfolio assessment for my K-Dubya efforts.

Once again, thanks for the leg-up onto the highroad! I honesty feel great about this; all of that crap I was supposed to feel at K-Y but never did.

    Cheers…Randy

    Theories:

    1. He hates John Bear; therefore, me by association.

    2. It was something I said, probably about Berne or Kennedy-Western.

    3. It's Emir Mohommed, who already hates my guts. (I don't know why.)

My life was simpler when Levicoff was always on my butt. At least he was real and often right.
