I recall reading one of Dave Wagner's old threads regarding his online doctoral experience, although I don't think it was with Walden. I can't find that more detailed thread right now, but his general theme is below. D.W., if you're still around, can you comment on this current situation?

Dave has been a solid member here for many years. Some may have disagreed with his positions of certain issues and this is not a big surprise. It is, after all, an internet discussion group that invites varying opinions. He has not posted much recently and this is not a surprise either. Most of our members drift away in time, often because they have reached their academic goals and gotten busy with other aspects of their lives. In reading some of the older threads I noted that Dave has a Facebook page. If you were really interested in getting Dave to come back to comment on the subject(s) in this thread you might consider messaging him on Facebook.

    It was Trident University:

The article says she jumped on board with an existing lawsuit. It sounds like an attorney was out looking for people to jump in on a class action. So she doesn't even need a case that has merit. She'll get a few pennies in a settlement and the lawyer who kicked this off will buy a new boat.

I see just several people in the lawsuit. If that's so then she could get a substantial settlement. Or not.
