Appears that SOSU is beginning to offer new micro credentials. Pretty interesting. https://www.se.edu/2023/03/southeastern-offering-new-micro-credential-opportunities/?fbclid=IwAR30l6h39IMvLwwHW9CmuhcGxNwIwnF90tqodHE_Inl2NPKRU_n4Xa_UexU&mibextid=Zxz2cZ
Looks kind of expensive. I'm pretty sure you can get CompTIA training elsewhere, buy the exams yourself, and still pay less than they're charging. The others are probably similar.
These are interesting, I wouldn't necessarily recommend them, unless you really need them to pad the resume and get the extra knowledge that might be gained from a particular program. As Rachel83Az mentioned, there are cheap alternatives if you wanted to go a different route. I usually recommend getting a mix of cert, degree, experience in the resume and work on those three main goals.
They do look expensive for no name recognition comparing to Oxford. At least Oxford University has the prestigious brand and recognition.
