Some Employees Have Become So “Woke” That They Are Unemployable

From Fox News or CNN? Nope!

Here's an article made by GPT-3, so in this case, you can shoot the messenger. It's a bot. Lol.

These are employees who are so "woke" that they are unemployable. They are so aware of social justice issues and microaggressions that they cannot function in a workplace. They are constantly on the lookout for any potential offenses, and they are quick to take offense.

There are a few reasons why employees may become so woke they are unemployable. First, they may develop extremely progressive political beliefs that clash with the values of their employers. For instance, an employee who believes strongly in workers' rights may find it difficult to work for a company that has been accused of mistreating its employees. Additionally, this employee may become increasingly vocal about their beliefs, to the point where they are disruptive or even disruptive to the work environment.

Another reason why an employee may become so woke they are unemployable is if they develop a social media presence that is highly critical of their employer. In today's world, where employers often closely monitor their employees' online activity, this can be a quick way to get fired. Even if an employee is not explicitly critical of their employer online, they may still be judged for their online activity if it is perceived as being unprofessional or inappropriate.

Finally, an employee may become so woke they are unemployable if they simply become too difficult to work with. If an employee is constantly challenging their boss's authority or refusing to follow company policy, they may eventually find themselves without a job. In some cases, an employee may become so wrapped up in their own progressive beliefs that they become unable to work collaboratively with others, which can make them a liability in the workplace.

In conclusion, there are a number of reasons why an employee may become so woke they are unemployable. While some of these reasons may be out of the employee's control, others may be the result of the employee's own actions. In either case, it is important for employers to be aware of the potential risks associated with hiring progressive employees.

    Agree? Disagree? Scary?

There are two definitions for the term "woke" as it relates to race in America. The first, more normal one, is the state where one's awareness about the racial difficulties remaining in our nation is clear. One has "woken up" to them.

The other is a weird perversion of the concept into a bogeyman of reverse racism in an effort to put down the original notion.

Then there is a third, and that's the abnormal one that spends an enormous amount of time trying to find and/or invent things to be offended by and attacking and trying to "cancel" everyone who doesn't agree with everything they do, say, and believe. I've had all I can take of them.

Whether they represent an extremely vocal minority, or they represent a majority, they've had a lot of influence, much of which is just trying to normalize perversions and other things that are really indicative of mental illness. And the worst part is that a lot of it has crept into science and is being accepted as normal which is unbelievably dangerous.

There is a school (it's not a college but it's connected to a highly respected university) that operates in two states and serves a certification program in a mental health field. I got the opportunity to read through the material and was appalled by all of the needlessly euphemized language and concepts that are contradictory to scientific reasoning written in such a way that it's obvious what fold the people behind it belong to. Some of it is such complete garbage that it's difficult to even read through. One part pushed the idea of never admitting to having the illness one has because--and this made me fall out of my chair--that's from the medical model, and the medical model is focused on negatives/deficit-based language. Wow. No, the medical model is focused on reality and often times deficit is the reality. Denying you have an illness is denial. That doesn't work and can be fatal when not taken for what it is which includes addressing it seriously. But, in their view the medical model is evil, so just get rid of the science that doesn't make you feel sunshine and rainbows in favor of baloney that does, smh.

I'm beyond worried for the future of this society.

I'm not. I lived through Vietnam and what it did to this country. And the economic malaise of the '70s. And the stagflation of the '80s. And the Cold War.

The stuff we're experiencing today? Doesn't even come close. Not at all.

"Woke" has always been conspiratorial and divisive. From day one, it has been about stereotyping people into identity checklists and attributing varying levels of accountability and victimhoood based on nothing but those checklists.

The term "woke" itself illustrates just how absurd and harmful its own philosophies are. Adherents to wokeness see themselves as the enlightened ones who know the whole, hidden truth behind all of reality. It's self-serving sociopolitical cultism.

I'm not sure that's fair; it's a pretty broad brush.

The Right has a tendency to take a positive attribute of the Left and turn it into an insult. It's just another version of the liberal-equals-weak or liberal-equals-snob game. Just an excuse to create another bogeyman to scare their voters.

“Woke is now defined in this dictionary as “aware of and actively attentive to important facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice),” and identified as U.S. slang. It originated in African American English and gained more widespread use beginning in 2014 as part of the Black Lives Matter movement. By the end of that same decade it was also being applied by some as a general pejorative for anyone who is or appears to be politically left-leaning.”

“If you frequent social media, you may well have seen posts or tweets about current events that are tagged #staywoke. Woke is a slang term that is easing into the mainstream from some varieties of a dialect called African American Vernacular English (sometimes called AAVE). In AAVE, awake is often rendered as woke, as in, “I was sleeping, but now I’m woke.””

    “chiefly US slang”
“1 : aware of and actively attentive to important societal facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice)“
“2 disapproving : politically liberal (as in matters of racial and social justice) especially in a way that is considered unreasonable or extreme”

Considering the last 2+ years alone I'm not so sure about that one. And as I say this, I'm not saying those things in the past didn't have an effect, they certainly had a major effect, generation-defining, lasting effect. I lived through them too, and they were tough times indeed. But people lived more homogenously back then so it was easier to shelter from the types of wild things we see now, particularly unhealthy influences from the outside.

Nearly everything and everyone is connected now, and it's virtually impossible to escape much of what happens if not for the prevalence, just from the way these things have negatively affected impulse control to where people are not able to pull themselves away from it (I think we're all aware of internet/social media and its effects, so not much for me to say that hasn't already been said on that). And even if a person escapes that, they then have to deal with the institutions they have to use the services of putting it in their faces, and a lot of that is a product of what comes from the web because these institutions are so heavily influenced by what happens on it. Now that partly makes sense given how central the web is to modern life, but also makes little or no sense when they take on unhealthy things or try to participate in the normalization of unhealthy things.

The web, web communications, and social media are all having effects on us in ways we didn't see in past generations because those things didn't exist yet, and much of it isn't good. I'm sure most of the wacky groups today that have popped up wouldn't exist if not for these technologies, and even if they did there wouldn't be anything close to the millions of people influenced by them to latch on and participate in these dysfunctional groups.

In the time you mentioned, I saw a people who mostly had sensible thinking and a much more grounded sense of who they were. I don't see that much in this current society.

Yeah, part of the problem is that "racial justice" and "social justice" are Orwellian terms that in practice mean the exact opposite of what they sound like. Actual justice requires people being treated as individuals. "Social Justice" requires people being treated as stereotypes.

The other part of the problem is one I partially addressed above. The so-called "awareness" of your typical woke person is not an awareness of actual facts of reality, but of a deeply intellectually and morally dishonest ideological slant on reality.
