Smokers and Democrats

(3) It's nothing short of a weak-minded liberal Democratic stunt wherein they are going to make me quit smoking by taxing me out of the habit because they, the Democrats, know what's best for my own good and, moreover, they are going to punish legitimate businesses who produce a legal product that is sold to consenting adults for the high crime & misdemeanor of ... well ... just making too much money.

Let's see here ... you condemn an entire class of persons, of which I am a mebers, with a broad-brush condemnatory epithet as "idiots." You provide evidence that your friends and relatives belong to that same class of persons and then introduce historically inaccurate evidence in an attempt to absolve your own friends and relatives (yes, white people from Europe knew that tobacco was gross even back in the 1600s, not just since 1964) while still insisting that I'm an idiot! And then you have the gall to tell me not to get emotionally involved in this thread? I need a cigarette!
