Should I be worried about getting a job after I graduate with a math degree?

    Well, you can always run a hedge fund - they love math guys! :smile:

    Seriously - in this market, everybody looking for a job is worried. But you should be less worried. Math has helped make you able to think well and solve problems. And that's job skill one - and somewhat of a rarity, I might add.

    And yes - a math degree is a great start, if you want to be an actuary - but there are further requirements. Have a look here: Be an Actuary

    I was always told math a good major. We need people that's good at plusing and minusing. :pat:

    I think you don't be worried just go easy on yourself, face your threats make it happen and opt for a better master or a phd degree.
