The Republican senator says that the decision should be left to the states. Later, Senator Braun said that he misheard the question, but he was asked the question twice.

I declare it official! The Republicans have lost their minds. Now that we know minds have been lost, what is to be done? I will start by contacting Lost & Found and see if a large pile of minds has been found someplace.

 

The move to emphasize "states' rights" is nothing more than an attempt to devolve our federation into a confederation. That didn't work very well both times it was tried previously.
