You're right, OCS is an option for those seeking to become commissioned officers. One of the criteria listed for OCS is a bachelors degree from "an accredited college or university". The military and Coast Guard do not specify if that accreditation is to be RA or whether it can also be NA.

Also, in regard to another post here, I don't think you can discount a military officer's DETC degree by saying "well, a masters degree isn't necessary for their job." While that may be the case, they went and got one anyway. Also, a graduate degree is typically sought by officers seeking advancement in the military.

In regard to FBI hiring, this is from their own website:

What are the qualifications for the Special Agent position?
To qualify for training as a Special Agent, an individual must be a US citizen, or a citizen of the Northern Mariana Islands, and have reached his/her 23rd but not 37th birthday. All candidates must possess a valid driver's license and must pass a polygraph examination, a drug test, and a color vision test. Other requirements include uncorrected vision not worse than 20/200 (Snellen) and corrected 20/20 in one eye and not worse than 20/40 in the other eye. Applicants must possess a four-year degree from a college or university accredited by one of the regional or national institutional associations recognized by the United States Secretary of Education.

Yep and we're simply looking for examples of anyone who has crossed this bridge. Anyone? Is there any FBI special agent or commissioned Army officer who was hired based exclusively upon a DETC Bachelors degree???

Well, to reiterate what I posted...the Air Force DOES stipulate RA for Officer Training School.

Also, even if the Coast Guard and FBI do not say RA or no way, how do you know they don't discriminate anyway?

My guess is that the FBI is pretty hard up for anyone today. They might take Kennedy Western grads. :) They are looking at relaxing the drug policy for recruits just to get people in. However, the guy that tests told them that if a person did drugs 10 times he has done them 80.
