Ok, I tried this over in the "IT" thread with no success. Does anyone have any information on Robert Morris U? I am looking into their D.Sc. program (Doctor of Science in Information Systems and Communications) Tuition seems to be a big question. My short list, if you can call it that. . . 1. Capitol College PhD in Information Assurance (could be a vapor degree as it is still in very early stages) 2. Nova Southeastern PhD CIS 3. RMU ? Thank you, Steve http://tinyurl.com/8pocj
Their website is living here: http://www.rmu.edu/OnTheMove/findoutmore.open_page?iPage=61029 Not sure how well your finances are doing, but it appears that their tuition is $10,500/semester.
Re: Re: Robert Morris Doctor of Science Try this link. http://www.rmu.edu/OnTheMove/findoutmore.open_page?iCalledBy=findoutmore&iPage=62382&iT=&iattr=&ivisitor=0&ichap=sfs_sa_fees
Thank you Ted. $10,500 a semester is quite shocking (to me anyway). My range is $30 - 45K Nova (PhD CIS) ends up being $32,510 + around another 6K for travel, hotel, etc. (4 trips a year for two years).
Re: Re: Re: Robert Morris Doctor of Science Wow, one could almost play a game of "find something more expensive" for a PhD.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Robert Morris Doctor of Science That program is definitely more expensive than the doctorate program I looked into from George Washington University (GWU). GWU just started offering a 3-year D.Sc. cohort program in my area that, in the end, costs around $50K. I decided against it strictly due to cost. But on the bright side of that program, the cost included books and lunch (because classes were all day on Saturdays for the first two years). With that price tag, I want an all-you-can-eat buffet of filet mignon and lobster for lunch!
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Robert Morris Doctor of Science I think I remember reading in the Student handbook that you are limited to one lobster and one steak per meal. Jack
