Questions about studying with IICSE University

    Hallo to everybody.

    I would like to open a discussion about this topic , because I did not see many informations about it.

    I have a german Degree that is LL.B. I am a Business Lawyer.

    I would like to make a Master Degree.

    As idea I thought I will make a MBA or an LLM.

    What is for me very important and I would like to open the discussion about this in that forum is the topic IICSE University.

    I have found this University under the website (link deleted by moderator)

    I would like to know what you can say about this university? Are there any graduates from this University here or any people who study there, that I can talk here?

    I would like to know how the experience is to study there. Additional I would like to know whether the degrees became recognized by other Universities like in the UK or in Germany or in USA.

    Additional I would like to ask, are there any possibilities to write the Bar Exam in New York with a LLM from the IICSE University? How was the job finding with a degree from the IICSE University in General? Was evertyhing recognized?


    Furthermore I would like to ask, is there a possibility to make JD or a LLM over distance Learning in the US to write the Bar Exam in one State of the USA? If yes, which Universities will be recommended?

    - IICSE University is a diploma mill school, or bogus school
    - The degree from IICSE would not allow you to admit to the bar exam, but also you might get into trouble for using its degree
    - I would recommend you to take the LLM route at the University of Southern California Online International LLM Degree Program | University of Southern California | Online Master of Laws
    - In order to admit into the bar exam in particular state, you must meet it requirements (See CHART 4: Eligibility to Take the Bar Examination: Foreign Law School Graduates)

    For example: New York allows foreign law school graduates to admit to the bar, but require additional education from an approved ABA school. However, obtaining an LLM from Approved ABA school is eligible. The additional education in this scenario is certain classes from the Juris Doctorate program.

    If your goal is specifically to sit the New York bar, you will have to come to the U.S. and take an LLM here in person.

    If your goal is to sit the bar in any state in the U.S. and it doesn't matter which one, then you may or may not be able to do this through a distance LLM. In that case, Florida Coastal School of Law is probably the least expensive. I do not know which states will allow you to sit the bar this way, perhaps the school will tell you.
