This is interesting: https://apply.workable.com/quantic-1/j/0D19DD383C/ DEAC says their next comprehensive review is in 2023, and the only accreditation action listed in 2020 or 2021 is their original accreditation. Their statistical courses are already quite good, comparable to my Eastern Statistical Modeling course. The main thing they'll need to update is requiring students to actually do the calculations listed in the formulas, instead of only providing the formula, having students plug in the numbers, providing the output, and then requiring students to interpret the values. That approach works for an MBA who is not doing stats themselves but would not work in a Business Analytics situation.
Next time they are going to offer Masters in Data Science, Blockchain Technology...since it is a Business and Technology school.
Interested to see if this will be similar to the UPenn MCIT, which is a computer science masters degree for folks who do not have a computer science education.
Quantic released a set of new electives (all alumni have access to the system for life, at least as of right now.) Here's the list of the courses. The ones near the bottom might be the first effort from those Computer Science profs they were trying to hire a while back.
