Purdue Online MS in Applied Statistics

Someone had posted this on the sister board and I found it to be an interesting degree. ~$28K for residents and ~$31K for non-residents. Not too bad of a price for a statistics masters from a well perceived university.

For people that can take classes in Spanish, Universidad de Granada has a Máster Universitario en Estadística Aplicada (MS in Applied Statistics) for less than 1k. I am considering it in the future because the price is basically unbeatable for an official degree.

 

If I had to choose the most challenging class from my educational history I would choose Statistics.
It was the most difficult class for me.
So when I see people selecting statistics as a major and even more for advanced degree it's always brings the Wow factor.
I assume Applied Statistics is more practical and
a more interesting to study.
My father in law a former SAS Institute society president devoted his all US carrier around Applied Statistics.
He went from being a Math teacher to SAS expert in a leading US defence contractor.
He loved being employed in this field and
Had a very rewarding career.
