Some years ago, I was in touch with a clergyman in Croatia, who was a proponent of the 'Glagolitic Mass'. From what he explained, it was the old Latin Mass, but in Slavonic and written in the Glagolitic script. In the Croatian islands, some of the old-timers still sing some of the services in Slavonic ('Glagolitic'), and there are still a handful of Roman Catholic priests that know how to celebrate 'Glagolitic Mass', though it's since been highly discouraged (read: virtually suppressed) after the Second Vatican Council.

I wonder if an AI bot could be ordained? I've long thought AI could do large portions of my job. You'd just select the denomination, rite, and language from the menu, insert your chip card for the nominal service fee, don the VR mask and you're off!

Oh my gosh! Page A7 of this morning's Albuquerque Journal: "AI Chatbot leads church service in Germany". "Hundreds attended"

Should have noted that the article came from AP.

Always liked Dudeism. I'm gonna ask if I can join them and still be an Atheist, too. Can't hurt to ask. All things Dudeist come from Abide University IIRC. - looks to be a good place for that Doc I've never worked on. Maybe now IS the time... :)

I have to admit that I did apply for and received several degrees from Abide University.

Hm. I guess I don't understand. Applying for a degree from AU seems to me to be contrary to the essence of Dudeism. Too much trouble.

I'm sure they make it easy, for just that reason.
