Actually no; I am not an internet spanker. I work for an non-profit organization that manages a LLC dedicated to helping consumers. My salary is paid via federal grants, but I would prefer not to dislose the actual amount. I assure you though, for my age, I am paid quite well.

Anyway, I do have a sense of humor, and I actually thought much of the above was funny. I was not offended by the statements above, and I agree that this RJT may have had some of it coming. However, I feel it is bad policy in general to address spelling errors rather than address the issues. This is primarily because those types of attacks will scare away users; trust me.

What about the 8th grade eduacated mother looking for help finding a good DL school for her son or daughter? Would her request for help be any less valid just because she was not great with spelling and/or grammar? Obviuosly this is a different scenario, but if people in similar situations were to stumble upon this page, they may think twice before posting their request for help.

Someone else said how easy it is to run these types of reports through spell check. I agree, for people who are fortunate enough to have nice computers, word processors, and the knowledge to cut & paste, it is quite simple. Unfortunately, many people use WebTV, or older computers that can not have word processors and browsers launched at the same time.

Again, the smart remarks I see on this site are funny; except for the people on the receiving end, and the potential posters who are not great spellers. Forums such as this are great, but they have a tendency to produce lifers who have no idea how to act or survive outside of this fake cyber world. Before you write something; think if that is how you would respond if you were not hiding behind a computer screen.

Yes, you are an internet spanker. The truth of your role is obvious and self evident. Don't get me wrong. I'm completely enjoying the audacity and self-righteousness of your spanking role and wouldn't dream of discourageing you from any future spanking activities.

I'll bow to your opinion that everyone here is ignorant and insecure since you demand it. However, I believe that you are totally mistaken if you think that I or any of the other regulars here are hiding behind a computer screen, Mr. 9624 AKA, MSP

P.S. Thanks for the personal spank. I feel honored. :p

    Ahhh...my gut hurts... OTFL....

And here I thought the KW pub was the best hangout on the net. All those wasted Friday nites...NOT!

Ya gotta luv the whole virtual community thing. No faces, color, warts or the like, just the real deal. For all I know, Bill lays entombed in an iron lung, pecking out his wit with a wooden-dowel clinched between his teeth. No problemo, still on the floor laughing!

    Cheers….Randy

In RJT's case, I think that spelling is a relevant issue. RJT has been arguing for the high academic quality of a K-W education. A student's writing ability certainly speaks to that question, and the form of RJT's assertions seem to provide counterevidence against their own content.

Since you are the one who brought it up, please introduce yourself and your site.

    *******************************

Of course not. But if she were arguing that non-accredited degrees should receive the same recognition as degrees from accredited schools, based largely on her own personal experience with a non-accredited program, then it would certainly be relevant to mention it.

    ******************************

Damn, you were going good, then you suddenly fall apart.

Even if we put the best spin on the last, interpreting it as an expression of anger and frustration and not as an admission of trolling, doesn't it undercut your criticism of those who have gotten frustrated with RJT?

If you guys are going to dish it out, you better be able to take it.

I am not frustrated at all, but I do think that those of you who have engaged in immature behavior (attacks on spelling, etc), need a taste of your own medicine.

I would dare say that the regulars on this site can take it........but, our objective is not to correct spelling but to help those who are not familiar with DL to obtain whatever degree they desire in the most efficient and effective method. We do, however, point out the fallacy of those who come to the table with the opinion that K-W (or any other non-RA school) is as good as or better than some RA schools.

A business lady in my area obtained a K-W MBA, announced it in the newspaper and then approximately 9-12 months later the daily newpaper published her graduation from K-W with a PhD in business. She applied to the local junior college where I spread wisdom for an adjunct faculty in business position-- this was about 3 years ago and the whole faculty is still laughing - she can't understand why..........

So, dish it out, we can take it --- but most of us are also pretty knowlegable in DL education and will point out any errors that may be presented.

I'm sorry that you don't approve of my computer gaming hobby, Mr. 9624. I was very proud to be spanked by a professional such as yourself but now your responses have seemed to degenerate into plain old boring name calling. Tsk tsk, Is there anyone else in the internet spanking office that I can get some help on this one? I'm afraid that you may be deserving of your own spanking for that one!

    Have fun,:D
Bill Huffman (who is insecurely hiding behind the anonymity of his computer from Mr. 9624, AKA MSP etc.)

P.S. If you would like some tips on the best computer games out right now, just let this jacka$$ know what kind of games you're interested in and I'll be happy to let you know what the best options are.

P.P.S. What's the address of the official internet spanking office so that I can file a complaint. I can't believe they have an official policy against computer gaming.

Dearest Mr. 9624, I thought I already mentioned that I was enjoying your spanks. I must admit plain old name calling seems to be far worse to me than flaming for spelling errors but since I enjoy computer gaming as a hobby it must mean that I have zero credibility, as you so professionally and maturely pointed out.

    Your jacka$$,
    Bill Huffman:D

Mr. 9624, congratulations on recovering your superior tone from your previously hypocritical, immature and unprofessional name calling. Good luck in your future spanks and I hope that it's been as much fun for you as it has been for me.

    Your jacka$$,
    Bill Huffman
