Hi Everyone! I am interested in transitioning into academia, I would love to Teach and do some research but keep my current job in Finance. I do not want to become a full-time professor at this point but maybe later in life when I get sick of industry. I know becoming a tenured professor is difficult before everyone goes crazy telling me it's nearly impossible. Anyways, ISM in Paris has offered me a huge discount on tuition and would only cost me 20k to complete my PhD there. I talked to various graduates and some are tenured professors and some are in industry still. Does anyone have an opinion on this school? I am not going to quit my job and pursue a PhD full-time but I would love to start studying and completing some research part-time. Any advice/info is greatly appreciate!!!
