It truly is unfortunate that you do not have enough faith in your school to support it on its merits rather than using personal insults.

Unfortunately you will probably be making excuses for the rest of your life.:D

    Dennis:

You've made unsolicited personal attacks on me for quite some time. You distort the facts, take a personal agenda on issues, and generally get things wrong. You've proposed perpetrating a fraud, then defended it repeatedly. What do you expect? How can you possibly expect to be treated with respect when you act this way? I've never been known for sitting quietly and taking this kind of garbage. You're condescending, yet clueless. Rude and tactless, yet highly vocal. Those are interesting combinations.

The next time I make an unsolicited personal comment about you will be the first time. Think about it.

    What unsolicited attack?

I said that I heard that someone took 8 months to prepare and submit a thesis. I did as a matter of fact hear such a thing.

I questioned the applicability of 16 year old work toward a doctorate in an evolving field after you brought it up. Not a legitimate question????

    Toughen up.

Brighten up. Or "ethic" up. Either would help.

You "heard it." You repeated it. Certainly someone with as many posts on this board would know better. You repeated a lie you knew to be false. (Certainly you're not claiming ignorance?)

You do it all the time, Dennis. That you can't see the very post (of your own) you cite as an unsolicited, ad hominem attack says it all.

Posters like Dennis turn threads into flame wars. But the respondent always gets tarred with the same brush. I propose we drop it. But when it happens again, I'll call him on it.

Wish I had actually said something to justify the scorn and abuse but as usual I refrain from personal attacks.

Drop it - I was never in it.

What a coincidence! These flames occur right at the same time when the thread is quoted verbatim on a.e.d. by you-know-who. Stunning....

Some sensible folks over at aed.

Sorry, I'm not an aed spammer. I assume that they are other people you have antagonized. Should I ever choose to be in anyone's face, I would do a much better job.

Take a pill for the paranoia.

Paranoia? Hardly. But whether you write it or repeat it, you certainly endorse it. It's the same thing. It's slimy.

    Rich

When and where will your dissertation be available? Many people would like to read it.

The answer is not when will my dissertation be available.

    When: I don't know. I don't control that.
