This individual added me to LinkedIn, and I looked at his educational background. I saw that he earned a Master's and a PhD from Stratford University. I have never seen or heard that Stratford University offers a Doctorate level program. The school is located in the Northern Virginia area and accredited by a nationally accreditated agency. Does this is considering integrity problems in a career? Can anyone verify if this school offer Ph.D.? As a result of ACICS Council action on April 4, 2017, the Stratford University doctoral programs have been placed on permanent moratorium. ACICS will no longer accept applications for any of its accredited institutions to offer doctoral programs. Therefore, Stratford University’s existing doctoral programs will be taught out by December 31, 2019. https://stratford.smartcatalogiq.com/en/2019-2020/University-Catalog-Virginia/General-Information/Accreditation
They don't appear to currently (EDIT: Chris has shown us why above). Using the Wayback Machine I was able to find this from 2016: https://web.archive.org/web/20160609005601/http://www.stratford.edu/computer-information-systems/doctor-of-information-technology
The PhD is a scholarly degree and beyond the scope of ACICS. Their scope is limited to professional doctorates. It is highly unlikely, therefore, that the person in question earned a PhD.
That is also what I thought. ACICS has never mentioned anything about Ph.D. except DBA, DA, EdD, and Doctor of Engineering offered by Northwestern Polytechnic University. NWPU is no longer offer a Doctorate level because it is a WASC current candidate.
