    It is definitely time to do away with the electoral college. 2000 was enough of a fiasco to justify that. Giving little states extra sway over elections doesn't constitute a democracy. Just because we are a "Constitutional Republic" doesn't mean we can't honor the right for everyone's vote to count equally.
