Let's see if we can get a list of any other companies that need online scorers/raters/graders (NOT TEACHERS OF ONLINE CLASSES). I know this is an online adjunct board, but adjuncts can do this easily and earn more money per hour, usually...$12-20/hr....let's help each other out!
I was unaware that there was even a need for this. How common is this? Who are the more common entities needing this service? Online colleges, online high schools, other?
I found this a while back and it sounds interesting. They are looking for people to grade AP exams given to high school students. You can't do this from home, however. You need to go to a city they select for one week in June with all the other graders for the particular exam you were accepted to grade. They pay for your time plus all your expenses. People I have talked to love the experience as they get to meet other people with interest in the same topic. "Readers are provided an honorarium of $1,604 and their travel expenses, lodging, and meals are reimbursed." I'd guess that they need graders for the written parts of various exams like the GRE and CLEP English comp but I don't have any details. I posted the college board info because the OP said they were looking for info besides ETS and Pearson.
