    Hello Everyone!

I'm really glad I found this site before I get in too deep on Distance Learning. I have only spent about 2 hours browsing and have learned a lot already.

    My background

Recently separated from the Air Force(a year ago). Currently working as an Engineering Tech for the Gov.

I'm in the process of finishing up my Associates in Business Admin but I have already been looking at Online schools where to finish up my degree.

I'm currently enrolled at FHSU for BSBA MIS program. Does anyone have any experience with this school? The problem is some courses are only offered every 2 years. I don't want to get stuck waiting for another year so I can take a Major class to graduate.

Also what's the "big three" schools that I keep seeing on some threads? Excelsior was mentioned one of them.

Thanks again for this wonderful site!

Hi - If you're thinking about the big 3 then you ought to check out lawrie millers site bain4weeks. lots of info consisely presented.

aside from that, you could find that course you need at another school and transfer the credits. hang in there, there's more than one way to peel a grape.

Before jumping ship from FHSU it is important to determine how close to completing the BSBA MIS you are at present. Presumably, you will be transferring as many credit hours from the ABM degree. Next, try to sequence the courses in the major (MIS) leaving any unfilled free electives and general education credit hours out of the equation for the moment. At this point it is time to assess if any of the advice from Lawrie Miller's web site regarding credit hours in the area of MIS can be completed through testing out. Is it pooisble to complete all the MIS major courses at FHSU during a single year if properly sequenced? Does the policy at FHSU require all major courses be taken through FHSU?

In addition to FHSU, you might look into TUI University's Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management or Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Information Technology) degrees.

    Thanks for the help!

I've currently deciding if I want to finish up MIS or go Comp Sci. I'm still finishing up my associates here at my local community college but I want to get the ball rolling like get the freshman and sophomore classes out of the way once I decided what degree I want to finish.

Thanks for the TUI link. Do you know anybody that has experience with them? They offer federal TA which is pretty sweet.
