6 new programs from 6 schools https://www.insidehighered.com/digital-learning/article/2019/07/24/colleges-create-new-online-programs-cybersecurity-faith-and
"Colleges begin new offerings in cybersecurity, faith and leadership formation, global health, industrial engineering, and mixed methods research." I'd like new announcements from colleges to include a subordinating conjunction. For instance, "Campbell University's divinity school is creating a hybrid master of arts program in faith and leadership formation because..." At the very least they should try to suggest employability.
I think when the topic is clearly ministry focused it would be both helpful and extremely misleading to suggest employability. Yes, that M.Div. could help you get a job in any number of pastoral or other ministry roles. But, realistically, if you aren't currently in ministry and no one has specifically told you that this program will help you get there within your denomination or church, this probably won't help much. But I feel like we all know what an MA in Faith and Leadership Formation would do for you job-wise. Something churchy.
