Hi, is this a valid school? is it worth taking courses there to transfer later to an AS or BS degree program? tnx
http://www.nmjc.edu/ If you are talking about this school, it is a regionally accredited junior college.
If it is the regionally accredited JC Airtorn indicated, why not? You can't get more legit than that.
Cheapest I know of for distance study Hi - If you're looking for DL , then have a look at www.clovis.edu Clovis Community College offers the least expensive RA distance-learning I know of! You can complete an entire Associate's degree through distance learning here, I believe. Also have a look at www.maricopa.edu which is a consortium of about seven colleges (all RA) offering a variety of courses leading to distance-learning Associate's degrees. All these colleges also have bricks-and-mortar-based instruction, if that's your need. Johann
Perhaps take a look at San Juan College, also in NM and RA. According to this page, tuition costs $480/semester for 12 credits. That's $120 per 3 hour course. Virtual Campus Facts and Stats # 1.5% of students come from east of the Mississippi # Approximated 16% of students come from the Central US I'm not too excited about the spelling error, but the school is certainly worth a look.
