    That's the sort of clickbait headline so egregious that one should negatively judge the publication that used it forever after.

    Buried in the article:

    "Impact from the asteroid could be devastating, but thankfully, it does not pose a threat to the planet. The asteroid will fly by the planet at a distance 3.9 million kilometres - a distance greater than 10 times of that between the Earth and the moon."

    When I read it I tough it's going to be a potentially more dangerous situation.

    Not to sound ungrateful, but I think I speak for everyone when I say it's about time that asteroids protect us.
