Don't be so fast to criticize this school, I did some research and they might be a legit, as a for profit school.

I found out that their sister university:

Bust-University ( www.bust-university.com) is active as well, with a sizable contingent of female students and some "guys" too.

They offer a "PhD in Vanity" which is very popular in California with currently blond-haired students, and some "guys".

Having spoken to a number of graduates of this program, I can tell you, this program has really changed their lives. They are truly different people today, and, in most cases unrecognizable.

A bit of history, do you people remember the old poem:

    <<I MUST,

    I MUST,

I MUST increase my BUST, ...>>

Guess what school that originated from .....??!!! ..... Bust-University !!!!

If you need any more information please contact a Dr. Snowya at Bust-University, he/she will steer you in the right direction and change your life too.

    He/She can be contacted at:

My sister is a graduate of Vane_University, sad to say, it didn't do anything for her personality though.

  7. I can't believe they deleted it so quickly. At least you may have warned off a few unsuspecting dupes!

    To Whom It May Concern:

Would you provide me a list of the schools accredited by the IAO? I
was unable to find a listing on your website.

Also, why does the IAO appear on a list of unrecognized accreditors:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_unrecognized_accreditation_associations_of_higher_learning

    Thank you,

Please wait for a site operator to respond.
You are now chatting with 'Glen Smith'
    Glen Smith: Hello Abe

Abe Yeager: I have a question about the IAO

Abe Yeager: I saw on Wikipedia that the IAO is not recognized by the US Department of Education as an accrediting body. I tried to contact the IAO about this, but their e-mail bounced.

    Glen Smith: Call them

Glen Smith: Wikipedia is a editible website

Glen Smith: Anyone can add it anything

Abe Yeager: So the IAO is recognized by the US Department of Education?

Abe Yeager: Because as I understand it, that's important

Glen Smith: USDE is a regionally orginaztion

Glen Smith: IAO is on top then that

Glen Smith: It covers regionally, nationally regions

Glen Smith: Must is not accredited via USDE but thru IAO

Abe Yeager: Here is my dilemma. I am thinking about grad school.

Abe Yeager: I have credits from clovis community college, some cleps, and dssts.

Abe Yeager: All together, I have about 90 credits

Abe Yeager: I am thinking about teaching at the community college level

Abe Yeager: so I need a degree + a masters.

    Glen Smith: Okay

Glen Smith: Your credit can be transfered

Abe Yeager: Give me a second here -
    Glen Smith: okay

Abe Yeager: I want to attend the College of St. Scholastica in MN for my M.Ed.

Abe Yeager: So what you are telling me is that I'll have no issues with a MUST degree.

    Glen Smith: Correct

Abe Yeager: Since my credits are all over the place, what would be my fastest degree. I really don't care

    Glen Smith: Yes

    Glen Smith: exactly

    Glen Smith: globally accepted

Abe Yeager: OK, so I have 90 credits - 22 through Clovis, 66 (I think through CLEP/DSST - almost all lower level. What's my fastest ticket to a degree - what major.

Glen Smith: Well you can transfer the courses you have done

Glen Smith: and complete the rest with Must

Abe Yeager: So what major whould you recommend?

Abe Yeager: do you have a liberal arts/general studies program?

Glen Smith: Yes we do have in that area

Glen Smith: click schools and majors on top of the website

Glen Smith: you need to select a major for yourself

    Abe Yeager: OK -

Abe Yeager: I am looking at St. Scholastica's web site.

    Glen Smith: sure

Glen Smith: you need to look at Must website

Glen Smith: if you wish to enroll with Must

Abe Yeager: Their grad catalog states that they will only consider for acceptance undergrad degrees an accrediting agency recognized ny the USDOE or foreign equivalent.

    Glen Smith: So is fine

    Glen Smith: Its accredited

    Glen Smith: http://www.internationalaccreditation.org/iao/memberarea/certificate.asp

Abe Yeager: You know, I went to that website, and I wondered why the IAO doesn't list their members? I mean, HLS, SACS, etc (the USDOE regionals), list their members.

Abe Yeager: The other thing, in browsing your website, is why not a faculty listing?

Glen Smith: This is a online school

Glen Smith: you may wish to verify with IAO since its there website
    Abe Yeager: So?

Glen Smith: as Must is Musts website

Abe Yeager: If I go to St. Scholastica

Glen Smith: what do you mean So?

Abe Yeager: SO what if MUST is online, there are faculty, right?

Glen Smith: and see the details

    Glen Smith: by browsing it

    Abe Yeager: I'm looking

Abe Yeager: Is the site map link on the home page?

    Glen Smith: yes

Glen Smith: all the way down the page

    Glen Smith: http://www.mustuniversity.com/must/faculty.asp

Abe Yeager: I saw that, no faculty listing

Glen Smith: view site map for other details

Abe Yeager: See if I go to the CSS website: I can search for faculty:

    Abe Yeager: http://www2.css.edu/directory/

Glen Smith: well we are CSS

    Glen Smith: its MUST

Abe Yeager: OK Glen - I'm tired of this game. I hope you enjoy trying to scam people. MUST is a phony university, with a fake accreditor. There is no way that any US school would accept a MUST degree - and I'm posting this chat on a discussion board.

    I wonder...

Does "Glen Smith" work 24/7 at MUST? We MUST have a MUST-A-THON to determine this. Can we find 24 DI posters to post a MUST chat, one every hour, to see how many hours "Glen Smith" works?

    I say - WE MUST!

  12. It asked me for my phone number and quit responding when I gave it a fake number. Dang, spoiled my fun. Did anyone else have that experience?

    TEKMAN Semper Fi!

He is also a Provost, President, and Custodian. Wow, $14,400.00 for a Ph.D degree, which the diploma can be displayed in garage.

    Glen Smith: Hello Luke

    Luke Skywalker: Hey glen

    Luke Skywalker: hello?

    Glen Smith: Yes

Glen Smith: Can i help you

Luke Skywalker: Ok, well I'm sort of in a dilemma

    Glen Smith: Okay

    Glen Smith: That is?

Luke Skywalker: that's why I'm interested in signing up for a degree with MUST

    Glen Smith: What major

Luke Skywalker: well, my uncle asked me to go into town to pick up some batteries for him, but I sort of got sidetracked

Luke Skywalker: now he's really upset with me and I'm afraid he's going to kick me out

    Glen Smith: okay?

Luke Skywalker: so I'm interested in getting an M.A. in Jedi studies

Luke Skywalker: do you offer that program?

    Glen Smith: Jedi studies ?

Luke Skywalker: yeah, or maybe an M.A. of History with a concentration in the Rebel Alliance

Luke Skywalker: Do you offer these degrees?

Glen Smith: Ma in History we do offer

    Luke Skywalker: great!

Glen Smith: What is your highest level of education

Luke Skywalker: well, my aunt homeschooled me

Luke Skywalker: and my uncle taught me how to fix droids and such

Luke Skywalker: I'm kind of a technical guru

Glen Smith: have you completed your high school?

Luke Skywalker: "Ma in History we do offer"...hmmm....you remind me of someone...someone i've seen in my dreams

Glen Smith: have you completed your high school?

Luke Skywalker: the way you conjugate your verbs is exactly how he does it...anyway

    Glen Smith: 815-412-5846

Luke Skywalker: well, I don't really have a high school diploma

Glen Smith: i dont think its a right number

Luke Skywalker: where I come from we don't really have high schools

Luke Skywalker: is that going to be a problem?

    Luke Skywalker: I was homeschooled

Luke Skywalker: and taught the ways of my galaxy(astronomy)

Glen Smith: if you dont have a high school diploma

Glen Smith: you might want to earn that first

Glen Smith: seems like you have bigger dreams to follow

Glen Smith: and your education is stoping you

Glen Smith: so earn a high school or ged

Glen Smith: and then come back to Must University

Luke Skywalker: I do...I have dreams of one day being a pilot for the rebel alliance

Luke Skywalker: your just like my uncle, he treats me like garbage and doesn't believe in me

  16. This is interesting, actually. So far, in all of the conversation posts, MUST has never agreed to make a major that they didn't already have. Also, here, they insist that you get your HS diploma first. Not even all accredited colleges do that. Are they just SAYING that because they want to put up a front against potential debunkers? Makes me wonder WHAT exactly this MUST is. It has obviously lied to the public about its accreditation and acceptability- but it isn't your typical degree mill. I'm starting to wonder what their courses are actually like (obviously, I'm above actually taking them).

Now, I would certainly love to hear from someone who tried studying with them, however, I am confident that anyone who ever posts on this board, claiming to have done so, will be nothing more than a shill. The YouTube comments on their channel all sounds like marketing robots. When you try to post something, it waits for approval by the channel owners before it allows the comment to be posted.

I tested the waters a bit on the live chat. When I logged in as Jim Jacobs, I got:

You are now chatting with 'Glen Smith'

So I logged in as Glen Smith and I got:

You are now chatting with 'Glen Baker'

So I logged in as Glen Baker and i got:

You are now chatting with 'Ken Baker'

    :D

I haven't been able to log back on, but there are some interesting questions that I would like to ask in a friendly tone. I will report my findings. I would like there to at least be a bit of actual information on this thread. I have this sinking feeling that the moderators will close it if we keep posting mockery.

  17. I think there must be some sort of algorhythm that detects too much toying with the system. I logged in and began giving rediculous answers and now GLEN WON'T TALK TO ME ANYMORE!!! :( The chat will not engage no matter what I do. Dang! It was so much fun! So be careful; Glen might just cut you off!!

    Bored

I was bored so I decided to chat with an "enrollment specialist". I would say you MUST save your money. The website is a joke what school offers specials like $499 to enroll, first class free and free study materials????

    George Brown: Hello Tina

    George Brown: How are you?

Tina Brown: Hi I am interesting in a MBA. I would like to know how much the tuition is and how many credits I will need and how long are each class?

    George Brown: 10 Courses = 60 credits

George Brown: Total cost is $9,000

George Brown: There are no time limitations; it is a self paced program.

George Brown: Classes and counselors are available 24/7 to help you with the courses so you can manage work, home and education at the same time.

George Brown: So the more time you give the sooner you complete.

George Brown: Average time is 1 year.

George Brown: May I know from which university did you completed your Bachelors from?

Tina Brown: I do not understand, how many classes can I take at a time? For instance, most classes are a semester long. So if I wanted to take 2 classes and finish and 3 weeks that is possible?

George Brown: 1 course at a time.

George Brown: Once you complete 1 course then you move on to the next course.

Tina Brown: I got my BA from the University of Maryland

    George Brown: Great

Tina Brown: so what are the enrollment requirements?

George Brown: What was your GPA?

    Tina Brown: 3.7

    George Brown: Fantastic!

George Brown: You are welcome to enroll and get started.

Tina Brown: great so what is the application fee? is there a placement test?

George Brown: You need to pay the enrollment fees which is $499 and get started.

George Brown: So if you are ready then I can get you started right away?

Tina Brown: I would like to look at the coursework first to see which classes I have to take, do you have a link you can send me?

George Brown: Let me give you the link, one moment

    George Brown: http://www.mustuniversity.com/schools-majors/business-and-management/management-masters-degree.html

George Brown: Click on the link and scroll down to view the courses.

Tina Brown: I do not see the classes, so is it an online classroom for academic interaction?

George Brown: Its an online classroom

Tina Brown: ok great so there will be discussion boards?

George Brown: You will find all the study material and assessments online you can view your program and financial summary online in your student area

George Brown: The program is specially designed for working adults.

Tina Brown: that does not answer my question will there be student interaction?

    George Brown: No

George Brown: Let me show you the DEMO

    Tina Brown: Ok

    George Brown: http://www.mustuniversity.com/PreApplication/Demo/DemoThanks.aspx?data=WKc1jUx2EnUNy8kimMVkERhOupSwrdtGaGIEdcCLRMXdrPcWEZWYpSJqdUgJVBbhMlkbqdWzBSS0XMLjK8TKOshKJSBGNScW

Sorry to dredge up this old thread, but I was playing with the MUST AI and had this chat that was just too funny not to share. Read the whole thing and then read the last line in context. Yes, I used the name "Morey".

Morey: I want to get an AA and then transfer to University of California. Will they accept a degree from you?

    Ken Baker: Yes

Morey: Is there any way to verify that?

Ken Baker: As Must is Fully Accredited and Recognized Nationally and Internatioanlly

Ken Baker: So you wont have any problems

Ken Baker: you can call them for Verification

Morey: Where are the home offices of MUST located?

    Ken Baker: Ca, San Fransisco

Morey: Is it possible for me to stop by and talk to you in person in the next couple of weeks?

    Ken Baker: Sure you can

Morey: Could I have an address? Let's set up an appointment.
