Ed.D. in Assessment, Learning, and Student Success (Higher Education concentration). It is a fully online program with two courses requiring synchronous remote instruction. The program doesn't require a master's degree for entry. However, up to 15 graduate credits can be transferred to the program. Overall, the program seems to be somewhat research/scholarly focused. Two requirements that stand out with this online program are: completion of a minimum of one research-based article submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed professional journal; (The research-based article and presentation must receive approval from the program director [or designee] to meet degree requirements.) completion of one research-based presentation at a regional/national educational conference. (The research-based article and presentation must receive approval from the program director [or designee] to meet degree requirements.) This looks like a very interesting program, from the link, they also accept up to 30 grad credits for those with an EDS. For those looking at costs, tuition is here: Microsoft Word - 21-22_eRate_GR (mtsu.edu)
I wouldn't pay if I decided to attend Effective Fall 2022, I'll get one 3-credit course for free at all TN public higher education institutions and an additional 6 credits of reimbursement each semester. I'm trying to figure out what will be my next degree.
Oh Snap! That's awesome. I need to find me a teaching gig then, haha... free tuition at its best! Yes, I would use it towards another grad degree of your choice!
