It might be my only option at this point or I can take it as a sign that I should maybe slow down. My bachelor's will be completed in March and I really wanted that head start in a master's program. I have very little time to decide and come up with a final plan though as the program starts in September. Thanks...

There is also the problem that employers don't seem to believe too much on master's degrees anymore. I have been told that because my master's is more than 10 years old, I need to show recent certifications. There is also the problem that many Universities (not just online schools) are granting master's as if the were high school diplomas. Employers feel that certifications are more standard as you have to pass a set of standard exams. Many online programs are non exam based so it is always possible that someone got a MS in Computer Forensics just by writing essays but is unable to pass any standard certification.

Now that's the biggest B&M school so far to throw their hat into the computer forensics degree field. Any idea if it's going to just be in digital forensics or focus on other topics such as management, investigations, etc.?

I know this is rather an old thread but in case anyone is still watching, here is an update from UCD!
    - we are actively looking into having an exam / test centre in USA
    - welcome session is live online and attendance in Dublin not mandatory
    - we now offer individual modules as CPD
    - we now offer a January entry
    - for people not in law enforcement, we also offer a MSc in Digital Investigation and Forensic Computing, which is also online
    - many graduates would be happy to speak with people who are considering doing the course - just ask me to put you in touch.
